Northam Park is a big park that has tennis courts, athletic fields, and a pool. It has grassy areas, trails, and a playground. Thompson Park is a local complex that features athletic fields, paved trails, a playground, and a hill for sledding. The Daily Growler is a fun and casual spot for you and your friends to hang out. You can grab a brew and have a chat.

 

Just like every city in the United States, Upper Arlington yearly hosts a Fourth of July parade with a fireworks display, thanks to the efforts of members of the Upper Arlington Civic Association. The fireworks display held in Upper Arlington is the second largest in the state by volume. The Upper Arlington Labor Day Arts Festival at Northam Park and the annual Halloween festival at Tremont Elementary School, where visitors can buy treats, crafts, pumpkins, and others

The City's Parks & Recreation Department hosts various events including the Summer Celebration, Spring Fling, Fall Fest, andWinter Festival and Tree Lighting. Other activities include the Chamber's Taste of UA festival, and in summer, Upper Arlington also hosts an event called "Movie in the Park" where movies are usually shown free of charge in Upper Arlington's various parks.

 

If you’re into local delicacies, you should head to the farmer's market that is held every Wednesday midday in the parking lot of the Senior Center in Northam Park from May into October. You can also take a look at the City's Cultural Arts Division's summer Music in the Park series and flaunts juried shows featuring two- and three-dimensional art in the Concourse Gallery.
